How to read app bonuses and referral code terms
Welcome bonuses and referral codes can look simple, but the terms decide the real value. Read wagering rules, eligible games, withdrawal caps and expiry dates before you deposit or play.
What wagering or play-through rules mean
Wagering or play-through terms describe how much eligible play may be required before a locked bonus balance can be withdrawn, if it can be withdrawn at all. They are not a promise of profit, income or guaranteed withdrawal.
Eligible games and excluded games
- Check which game modes count toward bonus clearing.
- Look for excluded rooms, promo tables, cash formats or special events.
- Confirm whether referral rewards and welcome bonuses use different clearing rules.
- Use the current in-app terms because rules can change by offer.
Withdrawal caps and locked balance rules
Some offers can carry a maximum withdrawal cap, expiry deadline, cancellation condition or locked-balance rule. Do not deposit more just because a bonus appears close to unlocking, and do not assume bonus value equals cash value.
What bonus expiry usually means
An expiry warning can mean a reward will no longer be claimable, that a locked bonus balance may be cancelled, or that an offer window has ended. Expiry does not automatically mean every cash balance is lost, so users should distinguish cash value from locked bonus value before reacting.
Why a reward can expire before credit
Referral conditions may not have been completed in time, KYC or account review may still be pending, the offer window may have ended, the region may not qualify, or duplicate-account and abuse checks may still be unresolved. None of these situations guarantee later release.
What not to do after an expiry warning
Do not deposit more only to beat an expiry timer, do not chase losses because a reward looks close to unlocking, and do not trust anyone who offers to restore an expired bonus for a fee. Check local rules and keep play within your entertainment budget.
When a bonus may be removed
Expiry, incomplete KYC, duplicate-account checks, referral abuse review, unsupported payment details or activity that breaks the offer rules can cause a reward to be reduced, blocked or removed.
